INDIA shining while politicians speaking(sleeping)!!

With politicians at both the centre and state making chaos and un-smart beggary for votes, comments on sri-lanka-LTTE issue, fasting for the same.. a question arose in my mind!!

Who s an ideal leader??

I was taught from my childhood that INDIA s a land of diverse culture, attitude and everything nice..

All that is fine.. but why is it that only in INDIA there is just too much 'politics' about everything. so many developmental plans that came across in the recent years were put away due to poor or bad politics.

Tata- Nano had created a worldwide buzz and Singur had suddenly come into the limelight and many thought that it would be a great milestone cross-over for corporate INDIA. But the shortsightedness of Mamata ensured that Singur would remain as obscure as it was before Tata expressed their intention to establish the Nano factory there.

Their intentions are clear that they only seek political and personal benefit at the expense of poor farmers. And they have used thousands of farmers for their petty benefits.

Does india need a headlines like this??

Ratan Tata’s commitment to the whole world was at stake.

Next was the big IPL drama..

The controversial talks aimed at Narendra modi and Arun Jaitley  by P.Chidambaram clearly shows that cricket was not the big issue neither was security for the shifting of IPL to S.A. Considering the big hit of IPL-08, a cricket crazy country like INDIA should have bagged the immediate opportunity.

Lalit Modi had to play politics as well if he wanted to create the ‘big daddy of all entertainment’.

Recently, Lalganj in Rai Bareli,was chosen for a massive rail coach factory, only because it falls under the parliamentary constituency of Sonia Gandhi, the chairperson of the UPA. It is estimated that this Rs 1000-crore project would have created 11 thousands direct jobs and many fold indirect jobs. The project has the capacity to change the entire landscape of this area. Petty politics had played a spoilsport here as well and the project has been stalled for a while.

It is evident that national development has always been a slow process in INDIA. 

Who can change the system??

‘Men with power’ can be categorized into two, those who say:

1). I want personal gain, I’l talk, talk and INDIA is a spectator.

2). I need results.

Result is what the new generation expects. Leaders of corporate INDIA provide us just that.

Ratan Tata shifted the Nano plant to the welcome hands of Gujrat; this plan was taken over night and so was the IPL shift to S.A.

Its upto us to choose a path for the future, choose the apt leader.

Priyanka Gandhi said that the task of choosing an ideal leader is everyone’s responsibility.

"It is the voter who has the power to bring a change. Neither a party nor a politician has this power," she said.

We need this awareness not just for the elections 09’. We need to set a path for a result oriented nation: results for the people of the nation.

Cost Of Westernization!

We have always wanted to travel west haven’t we.. if America does it then it has to be better! This attitude of self suppressing and blindly following the west has led INDIA on a downward journey since 1947. Yes when someone has set a standard by achieving some goals u have to learn and implement his strategy. We have to learn and implement and not blindly follow.

We trust any product just because it has the name “made in U.S.A” or “made in china” in it; we trust them so blindly that the future makers of any product will flash the label “not made in INDIA”!!

This concept of westernization has its roots deep within almost every state in INDIA.

Almost every individual over 16 of age has a snazzy mobile.

50% of the families own a car.

Youth and pub has become an integral concept, night-outs a common phenomenon.

Huge malls across the city with all kinds of designer outfits.. branded footwear, underwear...

Mad rush for IT sector jobs..

This may be development for some individuals.. while INDIA will still be a developing country by the year 2050.

The term developing country as described in Wikipedia –

A developing country is a country that has low standards of democratic governments, industrialization, social programs, and human rights guarantees that are yet to develop to those met in the west. It is often a term used to describe a nation with a low level of material wellbeing.

With cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Cochin.. with roads filled with luxury cars and roadsides with big malls.. yet we are in a country that has low standards of living???

Yes we are still a developing country. In order for a nation to develop, We must develop the standard of living of the population from the bottom up.

Microsoft’s mission from when I was a young kid — a computer on every desk and in every home. That mission, of course, had an implicit suffix of “…running Microsoft software”. 

Bill Gates wanted to achieve his mission not by quantity but by quality. Microsoft has been constantly updating its products every day.

While in Tamil Nadu, the present chief minister had declared in his election manifesto that he would offer free television sets to almost everyone across T.N. he also went to the extent of successfully distributing 21.09 lakh sets till date. This process is nothing but misuse of millions of tax payer’s money for personal gain. As a thoughtful leader he must have devised strategies to make the 21.09 lakh people capable of buying a television set on their own. He could have given government jobs for these 21.09 lakh people. Or set up small scale industries employing quarter of these people.  

People may argue that we are progressing. Our progress is not strong and unanimous. We may justify our growth in IT and aeronautical sectors. These developments will increase the pride of our nation among international communities but won't fill the stomach of the masses who are still below the poverty line. We should attain an universal growth. Our Government, politicians and people should work hard to narrow down the gap between rich and poor. There won't be any progress without giving attention to socio-economic imbalances.

My First Bowling Disaster!!

Well it was on my recent trip to Bangalore. I, my uncle n aunt decided to have some fun at a bowling alley. I was totally naïve at that sport. And..  to make it obvious, my first roll was a fowlJ and the next one was a disaster!! The ball went untouched by the pins!!.. well my uncle was good at it!. He scored two straight strikes!! Well that was a motivation though.. my aunt too was goin good at it! She cleared all the pins in two straight rolls! 

Yeah that’s me.. posing with the ball!! Someone told me I was aiming at the opposite direction! Then came the actual scoring part!! Yes I was learning well! Obvious from the score board

And yeah.. bowling wasn’t the only thing that kept us entertained that night.. then we went to Bangalore central..

Therz my uncle after gettin me a jean n two t-shirts! thats so sweet of him u knw!! u rock! :) then came the yummy part.!! KFC rocks!!

That’s too much fun for a night! And I would never forget this wonderful trip to Bangalore!!

Guess The Professor..

we had our internal exams.. a busy schedule it is.. exams everyday throughout the week.. the professors know we wont do well.. yet they wanna see our resistance.. and i have a group to hang out with and to do night studies.. 'night-studies' i would say.. ha ha.. 

we were so damn bored and frustrated with the exams.. we decided to take a break.. and also to take revenge on one of em..

The one u see on the screen is a caricature of one such person making college life hell for us..

Ahhh.. nothing changed even as we did this.. yet we loved making fun of him at 12:00 a.m..

even after that we didn ve any idea to study!! And did nothing better than having flunk the test..  There are other things we tried as well.. like hit the professor.. fire the professor's ass!! Ahhh.. it is always cool doin 'night-studies'..

That love story wasn’t all to my school life.. there was something more than that!.. a lot more then that actually.

My super cool gang during my school days.. we used to hand around a lot so often. and wait.. there was another person in our gang..

The boxer satish.. u can see him along with me and madhu..

No conversation would start without ashik cracking some non-sense joke..

We used to discuss all useless concepts of life.. rite frm school, future..,, sex… what not..

Ahhh… we had a life! An useless one thoughJ.

For example.. we used to have these kinda photo sessions in my home.. just to show off my newly bought camera back then..

and it comes well within our policy of wasting time wherever possible.

Thats my drafter u r holding out there jiju. And i nearly got my ass busted when i forgot to take it for my lab session the other day (dont know where i threw it away after the photo session). There are humungus stories to tell about this guy (JIJU). 

Now that our lives have turned out lot different from each other.. we still share a lot in common… we miss each other so much..

this day back then..

2006 was the year!!..

just as u might guess.. a hunch of school time romance for the hero of this blog!!

i met this most amazing girl in my school.. let me tell u what happened exactly in feb. back then..

was the last time i called her..

i made up so many dramas lyk i think a lot about her and i ruin my studies..

twelth std being the carreer deciding phase of my lyf.. i thought she might fall for it..

ha ha.. let me tell u the truth.. 

yes i had her fogging all over my mind.. every thought.. every deed there was this girl everywhere.. but i knew how to manage my studies..

well.. today was the last day i called her.. she wished me good luck for my exams.

and said exactly this 

"just study thats it!.. u dont be without studying for me. it's ur life that s goin to be spoiled"

then i said:"and u dont care for my life??"

"please don't speak like that, it really hurts"

well she was soo much matured to say something like that for me.

but i was just a kiddo!! i made so many attempts to prove my true love to her but never so impressive enough for a girl of her kind..

her kind.. she s the exact meaning for the word cute and was sooo adorable.. 

and i.. was this lovelorn.. too much senti in every sentence i speak.. any girl would give a wierd look unless she s of the flimsy type.!

and there were too many senti dialogues until she kept the phone down. this was the last time i ever heard her voice.

and then finally i opened up..

she made me to wait

put me in doubt..

but i was ready to test..
